So that’s it for another Summer, Torico has now closed its doors for the Winter. This has been my third Summer as owner and year on year our rentals increase so a huge thankyou to all of you who have supported us and hopefully will continue to do so.
This year we changed bike manufacturer to Pivot Bikes which is always a gamble, especially when we decided to stock only carbon bikes. However judging by all the favourable comments we received about the quality and handling of the bikes we feel it was worth it.
I believe the reason we have such great rental business is down to our mechanics making sure the bikes are always in tip top condition before they go out so I must say a huge thankyou to the Team, Lee, Pierrot Jimmy and Brandon for basically working their arses off all summer long.
We had amazing weather this year in sharp contrast to the rain of 2014 so let’s hope the weather gods treat us the same next summer. It is amazing the difference it makes not only for ourselves but for everybody visiting Morzine and that can only be a good thing for the resort and the Portes du Soleil.
Our end of season trip took us to Verbier this year and we were treated to great weather and fantastic trails both man made and natural. Good choice boys.
The website should be back up and running by November so you can reserve your bikes early to avoid disappointment. In the meantime if we have any news we need to tell you about it will be on our site or our Facebook page.
Once again thankyou to everybody who chose Torico for all their biking needs and look forward to seeing you all again next year.
